Wild Rose Sangha is a mindfulness community that practices in the Plum Village tradition of Engaged Buddhism. We are based in Calgary, Canada and offer practices both in-person and online.

Mission statement

A community cultivating compassion, awakening and joy, practicing the mindfulness teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and Plum Village.

Our current practices

Morning practice: Online, Monday–Friday, 7:45–8:15am MST.

Monday evening practice: Online, 7:00–8:15pm MST.

Wednesday evening practice: In-person, Calgary Unitarians, 5:30–6:30pm MST.

Rainbow sangha: Online, third Sunday of the month, 7:00–8:00pm MST. A safer practice space for those who are gender or sexually diverse.

Outdoor walking meditation: Monthly. Calgary parks. Announced via email group.

Days of mindfulness: Quarterly. In-person, online or hybrid. Announced via email group and website.

Annual retreat: Calgary and area. Multi-day. Announced via email group and website.
